Hi
I just received a call from RCS from collection department apparantly I paid R63 less than what I should have in the month of December and this was never brought to my attention when I made a payment at the shop.
At the begining of December I made a payment of R 3700 instead of the monthly installement (???) and at the end of the month I made a further R300 which was according to the call centre agent R63 less. I have recently learnt that paying your account in advance does not add value you still expeceted to make a full monthly installement in the forthcoming month. Given the fact that I am not conversent with the content of National credit act I would assume that this is correct. But where my beef is with RCS when I went to the shop the teller could not tell me what my installement was and as a result I paid less by R63. The worst part now is that my account is in areas and has been handed over for collection for failing to make this payment of R 63 no communication in between to inform me of my default. I am paying a collection fee.
Is this correct or is another money making scheme from RCS?
I might be ignorant but definetly not stupid.
