No response on homeloan application

I applied for a home loan on the 16th of January 2012. First application was rejected due to Standard Bank Capturing incorrect expenses. I called and an agent rectivied the mistakes. The second application has been pending for two weeks now allmost due to verification of employment. This after I sent Standard Bank an increase letter and a letter confirming that Im employed. A lady in the call centre now tells me that the entire apllication needs to be recaptured and redone. This is unaaceptable. Firstly No one from the bank called me to inform me that they are struggling to verify employment and secondly the re capturing process. The service is poor and i dont think i want to be a standard bank customer anymore
