Poor service leading to me changing my bank

I applied for a home loan through Standard Bank as it is the bank I have been banking with from the time I was a student. Only to be told there were some complications with the property and my home loan application was closed. Upon further enquiry, with assistance from the body corporate of the property, Standard bank sent someone across to look into the property only to find that the complex was not reviewed. After numerous calls from myself I was told that the matter is currently under review and my application will be re-opened using another application number. Last response from Standard Bank was on 26 Jun 13 which told me review is still in progress (something I had been listening to for almost 2 weeks). To date I have not heard anything from Standard bank, nor has there been a matter of urgency to sort out the problem. I have therefore accepted a home loan from another bank and am in the process of moving all my accounts over to that bank. I am deeply disappointed in the service of standard bank and all the 'run-around'. As a client that can't get a home loan due to their lengthy review process and 'no-urgency' attitude I am forced into re-thinking where I keep my money.
