Why do i get difrent answers

My car was hit by another driver on the 15/12/2013. my cars was driven by my cousin. what's doesn't make sense to me is a back door, a rear vender and a rear bumper was damaged and my car was written off. All I wanna know if if it would cost 51 percent of the car value to fix it, why wasn't I told of it and why I was told after I was fighting with my way that they took my car from the 17/12/2013 and nothing haven't been said to me and my cousin was never called. after that 30 minutes later I was called and told my car was written off very funny it took them 22 days to tell me that and I was never told how much the cost it would be, even now I don't know coz nobody bordered to tell me other than my car was written off. so now I want them to forward the three code they got from who ever they got it from to see for myself coz I used to work for a motor industry and I have a clue how much each damage cost. my car would not cost more than R20000 to repair. now I want my way insurance to forward me all the three codes as insurance require if your car is damaged and I want to get my own and match them with their own. I feel now my way is defrauding me of my hard earned money
