Today i had the joy of spending 29 minutes and 40 seconds on the phone trying to understand what was happening with my personal loan account.
I (THOUGHT I HAD) settled my account on the 17 Dec - and called the FNB line to confirm. The lady said she would refund the debit order that was not accounted for and EVERYTHING WAS NOW SETTLED.
I see on my online banking, that it is now BACK IN AREARS. I called and the one call centre woman said i spoke to Sindiswa Ngozi and transfered me back to her.
Turns out that the refund was done TWICE "in error". AND I NOW HAVE TO PAY AGAIN THIS MONTH.
OBVIOUSLY when the refund happened on the 18th - it was during bonus and there was no way to see that it had been done twice.
I REPEATEDLY asked for a EMAILED confirmation - to which she refused to supply, only to give me the recording number:

At points i actualy had to ask her to stop talking so that i could explain myself. The last time i spoke to her - she said everything was settled. And now i see its not.
I AM SOOO LIVID AND FRUSTRATED.
