Restaurant card machine broken Friday Dec 27th

First told that it could be fixed Jan 6th??? Next call centre guy says it will be fixed Friday, on Saturday we get told that it would be fixed on Saturday.

Surprise, on Sunday we get told that standby technicians don't work on Sunday. Every Sunday when the card machine has worked, there have been no problems in FNB collecting their, sizeable, cut. Presumably though, this money is not sufficient to ensure a 24 / 7 / 52 technical cover in the city of Johannesburg??? We are a restaurant that is open over this period, if you're happy to accept the money, you should supply a service

All unacceptable, the that we have been told just so that the call centre can get rid of us. Listen to the transcripts and be embarrassed. In the meantime we will continue to have to explain to our customers about the incompetence of FNB when they complain, even though we will get abused as we can't hide like FNB
