ABSA has charged me incorrect for insurance from Jan-Jul 2013 totaling R 5975.49, as I already had my own insurance on the vehicle and they had a copy of my policy confirming that the vehicle was insured.
I have paid my car installments including the insurance charged above and it was up to date when I wrote to them in August. I then got a refund to my current account for the above insurance amount that I've paid, but wasn't supposed to pay.
Now ABSA has gone and added the insurance again to my vehicle account and and it now shows as "arrears". Now they want me to pay for this incorrectly charged insurance again. This also reflects badly on my account as this amount shows as overdue!!!
