IN TOTAL AWE OF ABSA BANK!!! I have a vehicle loan by Absa bank and have been debited an X amount every month fot my vehicle. The last 2 months they have been substracting R2000 more on my account. Eventually when I called and got through to ABSA customer care centre and costing me a huge amount of airtime... I was told that ABSA didnt know if I was insured and took the courtesy of insuring my vehicle! REALLY??? How could I get a loan in the first place without vehicle insurance! AND THEY TOOK OUT INSURANCE FOR ME OF R2000 PER MONTH!!! This is ridicolous right? NOW... ITS ON ME TO PHONE MY INSURANCE COMPANY, GET THEM TO EMAIL MY INSURANCE PAPERS TO ME AND THEN I SHOULD MAIL THIS TO ABSA AGAIN AND HOPEFULLY GET A RESPONSE FROM ABSA TO BE REFUNDED! I am furious! Atleast ABSA could have called to find out before they took the liberty to take out R2000 rand insurance for me!
