NEW ACCOUNT PROBLEMS

Two weeks ago I opened a transector plus account and the card was delivered and an ID copy and proof of residence were handed to the delivery guy. I then transferred money to this account as the account number was already given to me. I received an SMS to call Nedbank, I did and was told to go to my nearest branch to verify proof of address. I went to the Southgate branch and was told that there was no need to come as they already have the proof of residence I must wait 2 days before its verified. On 09th I called and they confirmed that its verified and I can withdraw money, Same day afternoon I went to buy with my card but it declined. I then tried to withdraw money but the ATM notified me of a technical difficulty and the card did not come out and I reported the card! On 10th today the branches were closed I called the call centre at 9:15 in the morning and the consultant told me that the account is cleared but the "status was not updated by the gatekeeper" and I really don't know what this means! I have never received such a bad service were it takes the 5th person to recognise a problem with my account yet nothing has been done.
