I visited Centurion branch to apply for a home loan extension on 26 November 2013 at 9am. I visited the branch and did not use the online application as it did not work previously, with it being withdrawn without Nedbank being able to tell me why. I also posted this on HelloPeter, and it was never fully resolved.
It's been 10 days, and today I received another cryptic mail stating it was withdrawn again. After contacting the branch, I found out that my official electronic statements from Standardbank is not sufficient, and I need to have printed copies with branch stamps on them. So why should I kill more trees, if I have electronic statements directly from another bank? (Go Green, but not at Nedbank?)
As for communication from Nedbank, it's terrible! After a week of waiting for someone to contact me, I mailed the branch contact asking what is taking so long. I received a one liner back, with very little info, and not even double checked before being sent.
I quote:
"Dec 4 (1 day ago)
to me
Hi
It's a credit the busy assessing"
Looking at this response, service is the last thing on the mind of Nedbank!
Lets see if this gets their attention.
