Good day, I applied for a loan with Nedbank at Cape Gate Branch. Fundile Mahala assisted me and was very helpful. As I did not had a bar coded ID, I went to Paarl to obtain a tempory ID and obtained an affidavid from the police as this was an requirement from Nedbank. I returned the very same day (23-05-2013) with all my documents needed by Nedbank. Fundile also made copies of my drivers licence and Passport. The very same evening I got a sms to advise me that my loan application was not successful. I mailed Fundile as I was not happy with the results. After he escalated for me, we found that my application was rejected due to not having a bar coded ID... in the interim, I was advised by Nedbank helpline and by Fundile that I will need a tempory ID and affidavid. I previously had a loan with Nedbank and was paid up even before my term expired. Today I was at Nedbank again at Cape Gate branch. Fundile said that he escalated this again... I am not happy at all and need this issue to be resolved ASAP. There is more than enough proof that I am not an illegal alien or something
