I was contacted in September with regards to my unclaimed amount and submitted my documents to Datafactory who submits the documents to Orion (Old Mutual) regarding my pay-out which would happen after 8 weeks. When I finally got through to (OM) 0860 455 455 (You wait at least 30 miuntes before a consultant answers) they said they only received the documents mid-November and payments would only be done in 3 months' time because they have a backlog. I have email proof from the Datafactory on the 26th September that they are forwarding the documents to OM, why is it taking so long for payment to be paid out? I feel sorry for the policy holders who want to claim as to when they will get their money. Im not happy and its not fair when I was told 8 weeks, I used the complaints email at Old Mutual and they said they looking into it and still nothing...
