I find OLD MUTUAL as not being fair, i joined a funeral cover with them and i know i have a right to cancel the policy at any time when i feel i dont need it anymore, instead of just cancelling my policy i was told to bring a proof of residence, bank statement and my salary advice, this is a funeral policy which has no pay back, so why are all these documents needed, while i never submitted them when applying for it. worse is when i go to the nearest branch to submit these documents I'm always given excuses, like: the person that is cancelling the policies is not available or the systems are off line, but if i ask for other assistance like loans i am being refered to a consultant. its been almost 5 months that i cant cancel a policy i dont need because of some unprofessional behaviour. IM NOT HAPPY WITH OLD MUTUAL.
