On the 31st of may 2013 i went to vereeniging branch after i had discovered some documents my mom had a policy with old mutual and i was one of the beneficiary i spoke to the consultant and she said that i need to provide the bank statement and other supporting documents, i came back on monday on the 3rd of june with all the required documents and the consultant faxed the documents to head office and he said that the head office will do the payment so during the month of june i received a payment of less than R2 000 after that there was no communication as to what is the problem or there is a maturity date on one of the policies she had with them.it's such a dissapointment with old mutual if it's how they treat their customers really i will not consider taking a policy with them.i will appreciate if i can get clarity as to what happened after the payment that i received is the polivy worth less than R2000 for all those years.
