I quoted my client in Zimbabwe for the supply of 9140 pairs of safety shoes. Payment was made to my fnb business account by the client on the 25th of November 2013. I have been calling the fnb forex department to get clarity regarding how long it would take before the funds were cleared. I was asked to send through information regarding my company and the nature of the deal and I did, that was yesterday... I notified Catherine Modise that the client who had a payment of R1, 656, 000 was suppose to fly into the country to finalize the deal, but we needed to get the funds cleared first before we could engage with the client. I asked to be transferred to the senior manager responsible for clearing forex transfers, and was told he is at the doctor... And unfortunately couldn't be helped because the boss wasn't around. I phoned him on his cellphone to come to the warehouse where we where with the clients and we waited for him the whole day. Finally the client pulled off and asked me to reverse the payment. The man by the name of Johan in fx department is arrogant and have too much pride. I will use all in my powers to get the profit I lost in this deal from fnb. 0788686451
