ATM error but money deducted

Pathetic service recieved from capitek!!!
i used an ABSA ATM on sunday. There was an error with the atm and i recieved atm slips stating so. However, i got an sms with a R1000 deduction. The money was also taken out of my balance. i called the call centre and spoke to Babalwa. She explained that they would send this query off to ABSA. She also stated that it would take 31 days to be resolved.
i find this waiting period absolutely ridiculous, as this is MY money which is needed. I also find it pathetic that Capitek is unable to escalate this matter or give it high priority. seeing as how no money was dispensed, i should get a reversal from Capitek while they sort the issue out with ABSA. Other banks do offer this!!!
It seems as if the call centre is really of no use cos they can never assist you!!!
