Yesterday I withdrew cash at an ABSA ATM situated at Finro cash and carry in PE. I inserted my card an requested the machine to give me a 1000 rand, it did the processing and then cancelled itself, then my card came out and I received no money but the SMS came through, there after I put the card in again and a Thousand rand came out but when I received my SMS notification it showed my balance as R2000.00 less, meaning the initial R1000.00 money that cancelled itself as debited from my account, this SMS came through: Capitec Bank: Cash Withdrawal -R1000.00 from SAVINGS ACCOUNT; Ref ABSA FINROSS CASH & CA PORT ELIZABET ZA; Avail R3665.03; 18-May. Call 0860102043 and the 2nd time this one came through Capitec Bank: Cash Withdrawal -R1000.00 from SAVINGS ACCOUNT; Ref ABSA FINROSS CASH & CA PORT ELIZABET ZA; Avail R2658.03; 18-May.
