I had a account with STANDARD bank more than years ago which i closed in 2005 if correct, i now want to open an account after going through a lengthly telephonic application, i was told my application has been declined becasue of the credit card i still owe, i had a credit card which was paid in full however that was forwarded to their debt collectors MBD who dont know how to reconsile their work, the amount was settled ages ago but i am being penalised today for that, i had a letter from them in 2008 if i am correct as a proof which i dontr have now, i was called by STD bank telling me to call the attorney for the letter, please this is malpractice.
