SURGERY CANCELLED DUE TO INCOMPETENCE

I have a loan with Nedbank for the past 2 years, i have always been up to date except one installment, I called the call centre to arrange payment which was done and all were happy. On the 23rd September they debited my account, I left it as my salary was coming in a few days anyway. On the 19th October money was put into my account for an emergency op, Nedbank again debited my account! My debit order date is the 27th monthly! After numerous calls i got NO HELP from them and had to cancel my surgery. The Monday i went to Southdale branch who managed to get hold of them and it was decided they would reverse it except there was no team leader or manager available to authorise! AGAIN i had to wait and eventually was told that it would only reflect in my account in 3-5 days??? This scenario left me in pain and distress and my op had to be postponed! AFTER ALL THIS they again debited my account on the 25th? Who the gives them the right to just take money when they feel like it. I am now in the process of closing this account and WILL NOT sign a debit order, i will pay by EFT! The call centre are unhelpful and just dont care, seems thats the attitude to have!!!
