ABSA my money and is now passing the buck

It has come to my attention that ABSA has been debiting me for a maintenance plan which expired in December 2012.

The policy was included with my vehicle finance so I would only have to pay one amount every month but, even though the maintenance plan expired, they've carried on taking the same amount off every month.

I've explained the issue to four people now but it seems nobody is competent enough to simply deduct the amount from outstanding balance - and I refuse to pay another installment until my money has been refunded.

I am so desperate to pay off the vehicle so I can be done with ABSA because buying this vehicle through them has been a nightmare from the start. They misspelled my name on the application which in turn changed my name on all of my ABSA accounts which caused mayhem and turmoil with my debit orders. It took them ages to correct the mistake and it seems I'm going to wait forever again for this issue to be resolved too.

It's no wonder I've moved to FNB.
