I have recently traded in my vehicle which I had financed through ABSA. The Dealership which bought my car settled ABSA of which I have proof of payment from the dealership and a quoted settlement amount from ABSA to prove such! Only to have ABSA come back and say that the vehicle was not fully settled and there is an amount of R1300 outstannding to settle the vehicle! I have closed all my accounts with ABSA because of the constant bad service I keep receiving and now my last account which is my vehicle finance account is proving so hard to close! I have absolutely had it with ABSA's horrible service and dont understand how a big financial institution as this can be run in this manner!!! I need someone to call me and have this issue resolved as I am already in the process of compiliing a report to the Ombudsman not only for this particular issue but also for many other issues I have had to spend hours of my time trying to resolve with ABSA!!!
