My vehicle is financed through ABSA Vehicle Finance and this month ABSA decided to deduct an extra R1000.00 on my car repayments! When I enquired about the extra deduction, I was told that it was a forced debit on my account because ABSA do not have proof that my car is insured! I have had the car for three years!!! Why did a representative not phone me first and request proof of insurance? Instead, I am left with the hassle of getting this error resolved and getting my money refunded (which, I might add, will only be refunded in 5 to 7 working days! Yet ABSA can deduct and receive money without even contacting the client) I am horrified at how freely ABSA were able to deduct extra money from my account. Where is the Customer Service and integrity? I am highly disappointed at ABSA - Today, Tomorrow, Together - I think not!!
