I have been trying to get hold of Absa Contact Center from Tue, 8 Jan 2013 14:16. I just bought a new car and the car is financed through Absa.
My first installment went off in the beginning of Jan '13. Once a car is bought and finance is approved, interest is already loaded on the price and installments.
After my installment went off in Jan '13, i realized that the amount they had on my Absa Internet banking (the account for my vehicle finance has been linked to my personal online banking profile), the amount still owed should be exactly the amount given through by vehicle finance less the installment. BUT this is not the case... There is an additional difference of R99.32 extra after my installment went off that I owe above and beyond the rest of the finance amount still owe

I've been calling them, but staying on the line for someone to assist for more than 20min is ridiculous. I followed up with emails again on the 15th and the 24th of January 2013, but the only response I get is the useless Auto Responder from Absa not assisting me.

I do a full recon on my accounts, and i asked for assistance before the next installment is due, which is now Friday, 1 Feb '13, without any luck
