FNB "how can we be the cause of your problems? "

Two months ago, my parents got a phone call from FNB who decided they needed to confirm a few of my purchases as they seemed "irregular" without completing a security check and with my mother saying that they were not speaking to the right person, they ploughed on ahead with that - giving out my PERSONAL purchasing information.

When I called the call center they sought to rectify the issue. After that suddenly all my VAS like eWallet, online banking stopped working. I would have been fine with all this if ANY of it had been at least been spoken to me about. SO I called the center to get some kind of clarity. To which the agents couldn't decide who to put me through to, so would throw me from one person to the next. In the end the "helpful" advise I got was to change all my pins.

They did EVENTUALLY call me back, where did also did not complete a security check, AGAIN. And they gave me a reference and assured me they would call me back, They still haven't.

Since then I have been needing other services with the bank and have found that there are mysterious charges and people I now need to contact within the bank in order to rectify issues that heretofore did not exist.
