ABSA maintain we have to update our FICA docs annually. With members domiciled all over the country and non resident members it is a tedious process doing this annually. Also with members who do not have utility bills the process is further complicated by them requiring landlords to sign affidavits - what a schlep.
ABSA lost or mislaid our docs so just freeze our account!! No notice given. This is a bank of last resort.
