3 weeks and no contact unless WE phone them

I have been a Premier Banking client of FNB for 6 years. I applied for an FNB credit card online on 5 September. My application was immediately accepted subject to receipt of the standard documentation. I sent this through immediately as requested, then I waited.. and waited.. and waited.. I eventually went into my Plumstead branch where the lady was as helpful as she could be but the matter had to be handled by their credit card department. I duly rang this department and spoke to a person who I literally could barely understand at all. I was totally unable to understand herso asked her to SMS me what she now needed to support my application. The SMS that followed was incoherent, appallingly written with terrible spelling and grammatical errors, I resent the confirmation of income letter she had requested (as she had not understood that an Accountants Membership number is already the SAICA number she claimed was missing from the letterhead). I then waited and waited and waited again. Went bank to my branch who can not understand why there is a delay as the system says approved. I have had NOT one piece of correspondence since 5 September. What's happened to FNB?
