6 Weeks & still No Response

6 weeks ago i lodged an application to Standard Bank via their Pension Bank Lending Department. I am about to purchase a house & need the funds to do complete the bond. After a week & still no response, i called them, waited almost 20mins on the line before anyone answered, only to tell me that i had missed some information. I patiently gave the information & asked that i be kept in the loop of things.
Another week passed & again i called, waited yet another 20mins, only to be told that the person i spoke to previously never captured my missing information. It was captured & i was then told the whole process shouldn't take longer than 3 -5 working days. I accepted this & again asked to be kept in the loop.
Needless to say, i called every week, waited on the line for 20mins or more, sometimes the call would just drop or i'd get an incompetent fool on the other end telling me how the previous person i had spoken to was incorrect.
This morning i had sent a mail to the department asking them to please contact me. Guess What? I'm still waiting

Its not surprising to me then why Standard Bank isn't the countries bank of choice. Its a pity my company invests our monies with them!!
