I applied for a 3 months payment holiday with standardbank on 12/03/2013 because of the challenges that I am facing currently. I was then asked to fax through all the required documentations and that I did. Then a phone call came informing me to wait because they were still looking at my documents. I then waited and waited for a responce for two weeks and I called standard bank. I was told that they were still working on better option for the application. I waited and called them again, I was asked to call the credit control department which they told me that they can't help me because they have got nothing to do with my application. Last week t I was told to call Customer Assist of which they could not help and they could not even find my account number on their system. This payment holiday should have begun on 1st of April 2013 but nothing has been done as yet and I am approaching the second month now. It is really disappointing to get such treatment from our trusted standardbank especially when my account has always been up to date. Can somebody please attend to this matter argently.
