Nedbank
Debit order ran after loan settled

The Nedbank Personal Loans call centre refuses to give me a statement reflecting my settlement amount and the debit order they ran on my current account afterwards. The call centre agent prefers to explain to me the amounts despite my saying that I'd like to see for myself since I have an honours degree from UCT in Business Science! On the 14th of August 2013, Nedbank Personal Loans sent me a statement with a settlement amount on it valid for 7 days. On the 20th of August 2013, I paid the settlement amount in full; although I was aware there may be interest for August since the statement they sent me had a balance up to end of July. Nedbank then ran a debit order on my account for R2, 013.35 on the 23rd of August whereas my monthly installment had been R3, 340.59 before then. My interest per month has been about R1000 and I'd like to know what the rest of my R1000 was for. When I asked for the complaints department number, I was put on hold indefinitely and later when I called, I was given the wrong number twice! It should not be too much to ask for Nedbank to give me a final statement. This division is being run like a spaza shop and maybe this is the new Nedbank.
