You know i feel like Absa bank is not treating me to my satisfaction as their customer. Firstly i applied for the bond & refused to take my application because apparently someone had already applied for the same house but i was confused at a later stage because that person did not even qualified to buy the house, i bought the house with another bank. Now on friday i went to them as my bank to apply for the vehicle finance, they told me it ws declined due to the spouse information whereas i didnt give them my spouse info & i dont even have a spouse. OK they edited my application & told me that they will contact me, since then!! I was told that it was approved by 10.3% interest rate, i m shocked to be charged that as their loyal customer. One of collegue has just bought the car with her bank (Standard bank) & was given 8.5% interest rate, she has shown me her contract. If things are like this u will ask ureself why dont u move to other banks where you will enjoy the benefits of being a loyal customer. I want someone to contact me from Absa & explain everything & make sure that i get better deal on my vehicle finance, not 10%. Thanks.
