Absa is by far one of the worst banks when it comes to approving loans for their Platinum Customers.
I've been a Platinum Customer at ABSA now for Several Year. And over that time frame have tried to apply for Both Home loans as well as vehicle finance. Only to be Declined.
My Most recent attempt at applying for vehicle finance has again found me disgusted in ABSA, after I was informed that my vehicle finance was declined and not only that they would only offer me an interest rate of 15%, with prime being 8.5%? (prime 6.5% is not a rate for any national bank to offer on a 5 year loan, That is more a rate that loan will charge).
I had to resort to going to a competitor bank and received the full vehicle finance at a much lower rate even.
So My question is this, why is ABSA not looking after their customers?
