I am very disappointed with the new change to Diners Club Airport Lounge Policy. I booked an overseas trip using my Diners Club Card on 13 March 2013 spending over R16000. At this point in time I was unaware of the change in policy as I had not been sent an email or mail notification of this change. I have actually only found out about this change now after seeing my latest statement. Following my purchase of the ticket in Mid March my travel happened 3 weeks later in early April. My card was not charged and noone has said a thing to me until now i look at my statement in September to find the airport lounge access fees. This is an absolute rip off as i have had to pay R720 in fees I did not know about and worse still after choosing to use this card instead of my other credit cards and spending all that money to no benefit. To add insult to injury there is also the R606 annual fee.

This card is now more hassle than its worth and I will be cancelling my card and will advise all of my friends and colleagues not to bother as the terms are ridiculous and the communication even worse.
