Proir to June I was not able to pay my RCP for 3-4 months resulting in the acc falling into arrears. I resumed payments as per normal from June. Earlier this week I received an e-mail stating that my acc is now with lawyers acting on their behalf to recover the whole RCP.I was'nt even given a courtesy call or notified of this prior to the threatening e-mail. If your lawyer's could send me an e-mail, what stopped you?? The only reason I kept my elite chq acc with it's ridiculously high bank charges with Standard Bank was with intention of getting the few months arrears of app R2600 sorted out and a hassle free debit order process for my loan..and my other accounts. Attempting to call you Standard Bank proves to be another burden because of your under trained call centre staff. I want this process reversed. I refuse to be liable for additional lawyer's "collection" fees and all the other that comes with it. U du Plessis 0798851504.
