What is the aim of the call centres if they cant help me or listening to my query? The initial response before i even complete my query is that "I have to go to an ABSA branch because they can't help me with any ATM issue over the phone.

I have been an ABSA member for about 9 - 10 years and their service has been very poor for the past year. With inconsistency balance update between notifyMe and printed slip, information update and now this.

I purchased electricity on an ATM which deducted my money but did not print the token no. and the units i purchased. Now i have to drop everything to go queue at a branch just to receive the token number? Aren't call centres meant to assist us in this situations? Obviously there are authentication and security tools which save guard against which call centres can use to authenticate me. This service is.

FYI: I am moving my account to a better bank.

NB: I contacted FNB before contacting ABSA since i have used one of their ATM to withdraw, and i have received a better customer service there yet i am not their customer.
