I have phoned to speak to my "personal" banker. She was out of office and I then enquired about a new Debit Card on my cheque account. The lady on the phone then took down my account number and said she is passing my call through to ABSA assist. After listening to marketing jargon for more than two minutes I decided to drop the call. I cannot understand that ABSA Nelspruit is so busy that a client need to hang on for longer than 2 minutes for assistance. ABSA's customer service is very, very POOR!!!
