I called in Tuesday 13th for a vehicle finance application, I was told i was pre-approved and a senior consultant would call m back to finalize the loan. No one called me, i re-called on 15th Aug and again on 16th August. Each time being told a consultant would call me back. No one ever did. I even got i will send a mail to get it called urgently.
Eventually i called in to get told interest rates are not up for negotiation and i would need to just accept it. I have a sizeable investment in Standard bank and post all of this incredibly poor customer service and general lack of anything relating to help, I have decided i will go through the pain of changing banks.
