Incompetent!!!

My husband and I won an auction for a standard bank repo on my roof, we were notified of this and were asked to send through some documents and we paid the 10% deposit. We then applied for finance...

At no point in time was Standard Bank communicating with us with regards to our application, I constantly had to call and find out about the status of our application. I have been calling every second day from last week to find out what exactly is going on.

I was told the application was approved in principal but an assessor needed to go to the house and see if the house wasn't vandalized and once that is done they are going to get back to me. No one got back to me or my husband.

I called again and was told that the assessor did go and they are waiting for his report, most definitely a standard bank consultant was going to call me back, no one did.

I called today and I was told that the application has been declined because the assessor couldn't access the property. Now I want to find out WHEN ARE WE GETTING OUR 10% that we deposited. I am utterly disgusted by the service I got from Standard Bank!!! Utterly disgusted, want my money back
