I AM SINCERELY ANNOYED BY A TERRIBLE SERVICE AND LACK OF CONTROLS AT FNB. I BOUGHT A SMARTPHONE (IPAD) THROUGH MY CHEQUE ACCOUNT. IN JANUARY 2013 I PAID IN R1500 INTO THE ACCOUNT USING THE ACCOUNT NUMBER PROVIDED BY THE CONSULTANT. WHEN I CHECKED THE BALANCE OWING FEW MONTHS LATER I DISCOVERED THAT I STILL OWE AN AMOUNT INCLUDING THE R1500 I PAID. IT HAS BEEN OVER 5 MONTHS CALLING, EMAILING TRYING TO GET MY ACCOUNT UPDATED FOR THIS PAYMENT BUT NO ONE COULD HELP ME, EVEN THE SO CALLED MANAGER. I EVEN REPORTED THE MATTER THROUGH PREMIER BANKER (WHO APPARENTLY RESPONDS WITHIN 24 HOURS) BUT NO ONE RESPONDED TILL TODAY. I SPOKE WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE THERE INCLUDING PATRICIA, HER MANAGER GLORIA MASWABI AND HAD SEVERAL EMAIL CORRESPONDENCES WITH A FEW OTHER PEOPLE. THE ACCOUNT S NOW SUPPOSED TO BE PAID UP BUT FNB IS STILL DEDUCTING MY ACCOUNT. I AM SO ANNOYED BY THIS.
