I requested a settlement amount on my Russells account on 10 January. First of all - customer service via e-mail is pathetic taking 3 days to respond to a simple account query. Eventually received a settlement amount on the 18th January which i paid on the same day. Since payment was made i have been requesteing a statement showing that the amount is now paid in full but have received nothing. Proof of payment has been sent to various different people. Since the 19th of January I have been receiving sms and phone calls asking me to pay the outstanding amount on my account - this account has never been in arrears. This morning, I noticed that my installment has been deducted off my bank account even though there is no balance owing! Surely payment cannot take 14 days to reflect! This service is shocking!
