This letter is a formal complaint letter and I would like to have your reply in black and white I have spoken to Phillip Malia from Land Rover SA (ABRC Programme Manager) he said to me that the pictures that you (Execuline) and West Rand Panel Beaters had sent him only shows surface damage and not the actual damages on the rims. Thus he gave the go ahead based on that only I have a copy of his letter stating and this is his words "With due consideration to warranty and care plan policies it must be noted that the repair to alloy (mag) wheels are limited to surface scratches or paint damage only ;it appears that some insurance companies are opting for the repairs of wheels that have been deformed and or cracked. Please be advised that you are required to advise insurance assessors and customers of this notice. Action will be taken against any Land Rover Approved Dealer or Land Rover Approved Body Repairer that are found following this non approved ProcedureIt must be noted that JLRSA will not approve such repairs, in such instance the wheels must be replaced with new wheels.
