My brand new Range Rover Evoque broke down in the middle of an intersection 6 weeks ago. They found a problem in the engine that no one in SA knew how to fix - so it took 6 weeks to get guidance from Land Rover UK and repair the vehicle.
Also 6 weeks ago I pointed out that my satellite navigation did not work and neither did the voice guided on-board computer. Neither of these have been fixed.
I am now told I have to fetch the car because it is safe to drive even though not fixed???
EVERY STORY YOU HAVE EVER HEARD ABOUT LAND ROVER RELIABILITY IS TRUE - IT!!!
And even worse is their attitude when you ask them to fix an obvious factory.
I am now trying my best to get my Bank to re-possess the car and force the dealer to take it back as faulty. I will never even think of buying Land Rover again. Sorry for you if you have one.
