I settled my account with MFC on the 23/07/2013 and on the same day e-mailed them the proof of payment and requested that they contact me to arrange for the necessary documents to be sent to me. No one contacted me and on the 26/07/2013 I phoned their call centre and the consultant confirmed that the account had been settled and that I will receive the documents within 3 to 5 working days. I phoned the call centre again 5 working days later on the 02/08/2013 because I haven't received the documents yet. The consultant asked me to hold while she made some enquiries. She then came back and said to me that according to a team leader in their "securities department", the registration documents for my vehicle cannot be found and they will now have to request duplicates from the licencing department. They could not give me any indication as to when I will receive the documents. It is really a SCARY THOUGHT that such important documents can just "not be found". Was it lost? Misplaced?? Why didn't anybody contact me to inform me about the delay, but instead waited for me to phone and follow up before taking any action?
