Delayed FNB to FNB payment

My debits went off on an account with insufficient funds, so i got an sms from FNB to say the account is negative and must be adjusted. a few hours later money was deposited into the account from another fnb account by EFT. However i did not get an sms and my account is still in the negative, I received the proof of payment and i thought if i go into the branch and give them the tracking number they can let me know what happened. I went into woodmead branch and after waiting for close to 45minutes i was told by a man whose office is next to the managers' firstly that i musnt come at monthend because thats why i waited so long. and then he went on to ask me if i was sure that the person who deposited the money got the right account number. which i told him i couldn't verify because the proof of payment only shows the last six digits which are correct in my case, but i dont know if they made a mistake with the first few digits. He went on to tell me that all fnb notifications always show all the digits, which i think is not true. then he told me that fnb does not guarantee instant payment. he refused to check the tracking number and told me to come after 24 hrs. Disgruntled.
