I've recently moved from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth. I'm currently 25.8. My premium in Johannesburg was R622.83 and it had changed to R640.99 when relocated. I've been driving now for more than 7 years without any accident or claim ever in my life. I live in one of the best locations in Port Elizabeth (Crime Wise) and work in the Port of Coega with two security gates and low level of crime!!! I'm parking in the underground parking area. Johannesburg highway have 5 lanes, the N2 have 2 lanes. The population in Johannesburg is 4.4 million and Port Elizabeth is 1.3 million. The list can go on and on!! The probability of having an accident or someone your car is significantly higher than in Johannesburg!!
Outsurance, please stop with your non value adding advertisement "bending backwards for your clients" and "If any insurance company can beat our premiums we will beat it", nonsense like that. You are basically opening up yourselves to risk. Please do your work and be an insurance company. Focus on your primary object and don't take me for a ride. My premiums should decrease with [(622.83 - (622.83 x 1.3/4.4) = R438.812] R184.018.
