Insurance Claim Slow Service - Cannot Read

I handed in my wife's phone in on Wed 25 Sept., which was washed and therefore was water damaged at the Autopage, Rink Street, Port Elizabeth. I have insurance on the phone and therefore put a claim in with the local branch for the insurance claim.

The Port Elizabeth branch sent the phone and paper work to their head office on Thu 26 Sept in JHB, reference R365894. Their head office in turn have sent it back to Port Elizabeth stating that it is water damaged. They did not read or see the documentation that it is an insurance claim and not a repair.

The PE branch has to now resend the phone and paper work back to JHB on Wed 02 Oct. All this time NO PHONE, it is a basic insurance claim which is taking over a week to resolve.

Autopage is very quick to get my insurance money every month but VERY SLOW to respond when there is a claim.

This once again indicates that JHB companies do not feel anything for the smaller regions especially Port Elizabeth.
