EPIC FAILURE OF IPAD DELIVERY

29 Nov 2012 I ordered an Ipad (birthday present). I was told delivery be in 7-10 days. After no contact since the order, I called on 13 Dec, only to be told that the Ipad I had ordered was no longer available & I would have order for something else. I was livid. No one bothered to contact me to tell me that the order was just cancelled, but the call center person told me that the model I wanted was discontinued about the same time i placed my order in Nov. WHY SELL THE ITEM THEN??!! I then had to order the newer (& more expensive model), with promises that this would be "escalated" and del. would be within 5-7 days. I received an SMS that the order was sent to the courier and they would contact me to arrange delivery. Again, no word on the order from the Courier or FNB. I called the Courier, only to be told that they had no stock and were closing for Christmas, i could try agin in the New Year! I called FNB and was told they couldnt do anything, delivery would be on or about 7 Jan. Still had no delivery by the promised 9 Jan, again on 11 Jan, or by the again promised 14 Jan. I called FNB on 14 Jan to cancel the order and am still waiting for confirmation of cancellation!
