First National Bank
Smart Device, NOT SO SMART Service

On 6 March 2013 I ordered an Apple IPAD. An hour or so later I cancelled the order as my husband felt that an IPAD would not suit our purposes.

After much deliberation, on 3 April I ordered an Acer P2 laptop. I was told that delivery would take 15 days maximum. Yesterday, 9 May, I called FNB in a huff as the maximum time-limit had come and gone. A consultant promised that he would fast-track the order when I threatened to cancel. He called me back stating that I would receive my order on Monday, 13 May as I was (unfortunately!) living in the Western Cape. Two hours later the couriers called stating that they had received my Apple IPAD!!! Needless to say I told them that I had ordered an Acer P2. The courier promised to call FNB asap.

This morning I received an sms and a call from Enginuity confirming that they are in receipt of my Apple IPAD and would contact me shortly to confirm delivery! I emailed the FNB consultant from whom I had demanded an email address yesterday and he confirmed that there had been a mix-up. I could now only expect my Acer P2 by next Friday - 6 WEEKS AFTER THE ORDER HAD BEEN PLACED.

What shabby service from FNB - How can we disappoint you?
