Cheque account not working

My cheque account is not working. I can't put money into the account. I have try everything but nothing works. when I asked FNB for a reason way my account is not working, there response was because I do not use the card! How can I use the card (gold cheque account) if I can not put money into the account?? The reason way I switch to FNB is because I could switch with them online. I do not have the time to go to a branch to make my account work! This is not my job! Switching to FNB online was the worst idea every. A month has past now and still no changes.
