Credit Card Call Centre & Application process

I tried to call FNB credit card applications centre on five different occasions over 2 days. Each time I ended up holding for more than than 10 minutes without getting to speak to a consultant (after I gave up). Once I held on for 15 minutes and just ended up being cut off.

I have spoken to more than 10 consultants at FNB from various departments over the past 2 weeks and usually the holding time is short but for some reason this department is extremely slack.

I wanted to find out the status of my credit card application because since applying 2 weeks ago I have not heard back at all regarding this application.
