More than a month to open account & still waiting

I applied for a credit card as part of the FNB Graduate portfolio on 19 December. It took about 1.5 hours at the bank (first waiting for a consultant, then waiting for them to get my documents scanned/faxed as part of the application). Since then, I have called the call centre twice per week, and every time, they are missing some document and the process has been halted. These are all documents that I already submitted with my application, and since then, I have submitted my ID three times and two copies of my employment contract. The most frustrating part is that no one calls to tell me that the application has been halted. I was originally told the entire process should take 3-5 working days, so I expected my card at the end of December. Now (nearly the end of January), I am still waiting, and I'm tired of spending 20 minutes waiting for my call to be answered, only to discover another problem. The radio ads make it sound like FNB applications are quick and easy, but unfortunately that has not been my experience...
